Carbon Collective APEX Reactive Wheel Cleaner

Apex occupies the middle ground between an ordinary wheel cleaner and a dedicated fallout remover. Strong enough to shift heavy brake dust build-up safely, it is aimed squarely at neglected wheels and brake pads that dust heavily, and at high-performance cars, track days and high-mileage vehicles.

The no-touch formula does the work chemically, decontaminating and deep cleaning as it goes. It strips ferrous iron particles and embedded brake dust, along with road grime and traffic film, needing little or no agitation. A high active content drives it, and the colour-changing formulation reads out how contaminated the surface really is. Iron particles are broken down chemically until they lift away easily, which helps preserve the wheels while neutralising potential rust.

Wheels that are ceramic-coated or non-ceramic-coated are safe ground, as are painted, powder-coated and lacquered finishes. Use our React Fallout Remover instead if you are dealing with polished rims, bare metal without a ceramic coating, or delicate metals.

Directions for use:

1. Spray the wheel 4-5 times.
2. Give it a few minutes to dwell; neutralisation shows as a colour change.
3. Where wheels are heavily soiled, a soft brush can be used to agitate.
4. Rinse the wheel until the run-off is clear.
